I've decided to follow @NikonUSA, it's the official account of the camera brand, they share news about their gears and also often retweet/share people's pictures when they're tagged in them. For me and my brand as a photographer it's a good account because it's the brand I use, I own a Nikon D610. By following this brand most people would understand that use this brand and so learn more about me. This account also targets a lot of people that are interested in photography and so potentially in MY work. For this reason, I need to get in touch as much as I can either with NikonUSA either by answering/commenting other people comments and tell them maybe to check my work too. If I hopefully get featured/retweeted by Nikon it could really boost my audience with truly interested people.

I am also following @PeterMckinnon, he's a Canadian YouTuber and professional photographer. He gives a lot of advice about post-production on the Adobe suite but also shares tips about photography and filming.
I am really interested in his work, he also gives me a huge occasion to reach my target. As we share the same target/ community, by following him I also get to interact with many people that love photography.

In the same area I follow @CaseyNeistat, also a great Youtuber, he's based in NYC. He's really into Filming and camera stuff which means that his community is also into these passions. Unlike PeterMckinnon is more likely to post spontaneous tweets, just sentences that can be funny or really interactive with his community. His community is huge and gives more opportunity because as he posts more interactive posts he's more likely to have an "interactive" community. That means that if I try to exchange and share my work with his community, this last one is more likely to answer me and not simply ignore me.

I've decided to follow 2 professional photographer @BrandonWoefel and @Wisslaren. One is based in NYC and the second one comes from Sweeden. Those are two really talented photographers. They're massively followed on Instagram and they're doing good on Twitter too (especially BrandonWoefel). Going to their page we understand a thing, the people following them on twitter are really less than on their Instagram account. That means that the followers here are only the most convinced fan. That means that they're talking to a really specialized audience which really loves photography and so maybe my brand.

What I also observed along the use of Twitter that @BrandonWoefel and @CaseyNeistat had is that they're using Twitter as it was meant to be: sharing quick/short spontaneous thoughts. "I suddenly want to be a camera!" and people laugh and comment this tweet which creates a really interesting interaction between him and his community. They're showing a great example of how I should be using Twitter with my future community.

Those 5 accounts I listed will help me sharing my content, maybe by retweeting me because I work in the same field as they do, will help me to interact with my targeted community (theirs), will help me make improvements on my use of Twitter by learning from their use of Twitter.

Twitter is a really strong interactive social media. The Twitter community is one of the most active community over all the social media. On this network, people react fast and they deal with the live news. Twitter is anchored in the real-time present! On the other side, Twitter has one of the smallest community compare to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat... But we could also say that this "weakness" is what makes its community more qualitative over the other such as Facebook which is a "Mass media". Twitter was created for journalist and specialist, so it's not a surprise that fewer people signed in.

Yet, I have not followed any famous photographers but now I think I should because following them could help build my brand. I learned from reading your post.
